Description

Webinar Overview:

Our speakers are Jennifer Kuhn, PhD, and Meghan Walls, PsyD.

Our moderator is Chrissy Cammarata, PhD, ABPP.

Children are seen regularly in their pediatric primary care office at routine health care visits (i.e., well-child visits, sick visits). Families are more likely to seek help for behavioral health issues with their primary care provider than an outside psychology provider. By having behavioral health providers available in the primary care clinic, there are fewer barriers to accessing treatment, methods for assessment and prevention of behavioral health concerns, opportunities for short-term behavioral health treatment, and educational opportunities for the team. This webinar will explore the benefits of integrated primary care, ways to integrate into primary care clinics, and how to engage in the prevention and treatment of behavioral health issues in pediatric primary care. Specific approaches will be provided.

This webinar is being hosted by the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, Division 53 of the American Psychological Association.

CE credits are not an option when viewing a recorded video.
