Coalition for the Advancement and Application of Psychological Science (CAAPS)

The Coalition for the Advancement and Application of Psychological Science (CAAPS) has a goal of increasing the availability of teaching materials focused on evidence-based practice that will also be useful for clinical practice. CAAPS surveys have suggested videos and clinical handouts are of interest to students and providers. We are partnering with the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) to feature these materials on their Teaching Resources Website.

The next practice we will feature on the website is COGNITIVE RESTRUCTURING. We are seeking videos or clinical handouts (e.g., worksheets, teaching discussion questions, adaptation guidelines) related to cognitive restructuring that you would be willing to make freely available on the teaching resources website. We are particularly interested in materials that speak to implementing cognitive restructuring with diverse patient populations.

If you have any materials you are willing to share, please share them through this google form by January 15, 2024. If you have any questions, need more time past that deadline, or have difficulty using the form, please e-mail us at caaps.ebpclearinghouse@gmail.com. We ask that you only share materials that you have permission to share freely with the public (e.g., not copyrighted) or that are already available publicly (e.g., YouTube videos). Please note that ABCT is not able to link to outside websites, so we are looking for materials that can be directly uploaded to their website (e.g., PDFs) or embedded within the ABCT website (e.g., YouTube videos, Vimeo videos). Here is an example of the types of materials that we are looking for: https://www.caaps.co/behavioral-activation.
