The Student Development Committee for the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology is pleased to invite applications for 2023 Professional Development Awards. These awards are aimed at supporting the professional development of undergraduate, and graduate students in APA, PCSAS, and/or CPA accredited programs. Up to six $375 professional development awards are available to support student conference attendance, online educational opportunities, and/or purchase of printed materials that relate to the student’s work. Preference will be given to students presenting talks or posters at conferences (in-person or virtually). Applicants must be a member of SCCAP to apply for this award, and priority will be given to students with long standing membership. SCCAP is free to join for students (https://sccap53.org/join/).
Applications will be evaluated based on the justification of the ways the award will be utilized and how the award will aid the professional development of the student. Priority will be given to applicants who are not receiving other funding to attend conferences or purchase professional development materials.
Applicants may also utilize award funding for past conferences/educational opportunities attended between January 2023 to April 2023 and must show proof of participation before the stipend will be awarded.
Students interested in applying for the annual Student Professional Development Awards should send completed applications using the form below by March 1st. If you have questions about eligibility criteria or other parts of the application process, please contact StudentAwards@sccap53.org
SCCAP encourages and welcomes applicants with diverse backgrounds with respect to age, disability, gender, geography, nationality, race, religion, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
