SCCAP maintains several committees to help advance members’ professional development and network, as well as fulfill the mission of the society. Please follow the links to each Committee’s page below:
The Communications Committee serves to enhance communications amongst members to improve member engagement, increase membership value, increase awareness of division activities and initiatives, and enhance member participation in valued organizational activities.
The Diversity Committee’s current focus is to improve SCCAP’s integration of multiculturalism in the science and practice of clinical child and adolescent psychology.
The Student Development Committee is responsible for initiatives geared toward supporting student development for individuals at all stages in their career trajectories, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and post docs.
SCCAP’s Education and Standards Committee focuses on the issues of education, training, and professional standards/certification related to clinical child and adolescent psychology.
The goal of the Membership Committee is to ensure society membership growth by monitoring interest trends and encouraging SCCAP committees to provide the necessary programing and support that ensures a high quality of value in membership.
SCCAP’s Practice Committee focuses on issues related to the practice of clinical child and adolescent psychology.
The mission of the Science Committee is to provide the membership of SCCAP with timely information about discoveries, opportunities and advances in child and adolescent clinical science.
