We invite you to join us for a professional development webinar on Thursday, November 17th, at 7:00pm/EST
It can be intimidating to navigate the current boom in the behavioral health job market. The Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice (Division 37), the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (Division 53), and the Society of Pediatric Psychology (Division 54) are hosting a virtual panel for psychology trainees to hear from experts on how to best market yourself for advanced training and careers in psychology. Experts will be able to speak on marketing yourself for pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral fellowship, and future jobs in behavioral health and psychology.
Topics will include preparing and submitting applications, interviewing, and offers and negotiations. Panelists will share perspectives on training and experiences across the lifespan (childhood to adulthood). The entire webinar is 1 hour, with each topic presented for 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes will be allotted at the end for a final Q & A. Our three panelists, Dr. Sasha Jaquez, Dr. Elizabeth McQuaid, and Dr. Carla Adkison-Johnson, are uniquely suited to speak on these topics.
This webinar is free, and a recording will be posted on the SCCAP53.org website. We hope to see you there!
