The goal of the Membership Committee is to ensure society membership growth by monitoring interest trends and encouraging SCCAP committees to provide the necessary programing and support that ensures a high quality of value in membership.
The Membership Committee’s responsibilities are the recruitment and retention of SCCAP members and Special Interest Groups (SIGs), report member trends to the Executive Board, report on member interests and needs from the Division, and working with the Executive Board and Committee chairs to increase the offerings of member benefits.
The Membership Committee achieves these goals by partnering with other divisions for reciprocal advertisement of membership recruitment, periodically surveying membership about interests or membership satisfaction, monitoring subject discussion on SCCAP social media platforms, and annual membership renewal strategies.
