Anna Van Meter, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research and in the Department of Psychiatry Research at The Zucker Hillside Hospital. Her research is focused on subclinical and prodromal presentations of mood disorders in youth, and on the factors that predict the trajectory of a young person at risk for developing a mood disorder. She is also interested in evidence-based assessment and is working to employ novel technology to improve the accuracy and timeliness of mood disorder diagnoses, in order to improve clinical services, facilitate access to care, and increase quality of life. Anna is also passionate about education and is actively involved in clinical supervision, research mentorship, and training on how to incorporate research into clinical practice for both students and professionals. Anna is the recipient of research support from the American Psychological Foundation and several private foundations, and was honored with the 2018 SCCAP Abidin Early Career Award.
